But the Apple TV store is actually an overlooked gem for movie lovers, because it not only has the best selection of movies supporting 4K, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, it also has a constant rotating roster of these movies for super-cheap. I’ve been raving about it to people over the last couple years, since I’ve inevitably been watching a lot more from home.

That’s why it’s such a shame that being able to buy movies on Apple TV directly from your Android TV is gone – I hope that whatever’s changed can be pulled back. If any additional news appears, we’ll update this story.

Thank goodness for this list. I was told by a Netflix rep that one will not see the 4K or UHD label next to a movie or series unless you upgrade to the 4k service. Then these designations will become available. I currently have the HD plan and when I rechecked the Queen’s Gambit, it listed HD only even though the HD Report states the the Queen’s Gambit is available in 4k. Seems a bad way to run a business. Amazon Prime shows which movies are available to watch in 4k or 8 k.

How about your company does what amazon does do the 4k and stream the 1080p movies for the same price don’t you guys make enough money

I’ve got a new Sony 65xf9005 and tried Netflix again. As with my previous tv 4K with HDR is awful on Netflix. 4K is better but still much worse than upscaled bluray to 4K on this tv. Movies on bluray upscaled to 4K are way way better than anything on Netflix.
